The opportunity to help young people feel heard, supported and hopeful about their future
At headspace Malvern, we believe every young person deserves to feel heard, supported and hopeful about their future. You will join a collaborative and highly skilled multidisciplinary team, passionate about supporting people and each other. We are dedicated in providing mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and wellbeing services to young people aged 12-25, so they can access the mental health support they need to thrive.

About the role
This role offers the opportunity to support and mentor the development of clinicians, and shape high quality youth mental health services. Reporting to the Manager, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a holistic and welcoming approach to young people and their families. This role includes managing a small caseload, facilitating clinical meetings, and overseeing risk escalations. The team conducts mental health assessments, collaborates on care plans, and coordinates support with families and professionals. Supported by the headspace Manager, you will uphold evidence-based clinical standards to deliver high-quality in-person and telehealth services.
This is a Max term Full time parental leave cover from March 2026 – February 2027
The salary range for this role is $111,387 – $126,819 plus superannuation, with access to salary packaging benefits.
We welcome applications from individuals with postgraduate qualifications in psychology and current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist and Mental Health Social Workers.
